Passing a Test Doesn't Mean You Have a Clue

Greetings and salutations! There's an expression that's often used in education, "teaching to the test," and it's something that we need to watch out for, not just in the classroom. Passing a test doesn't automatically mean you know what you're doing. Take this as an example. I have my pleasure craft operator card. It allows me to pilot non-commercial watercraft of more than 10 horsepower on Canadian lakes, rivers, and oceans. I successfully passed the online test, barely, but I passed it, and at that point, I had spent exactly zero minutes at the helm. When I'm part of a project, I'm always appreciative of those who show how they solve problems more often than they showcase how they can answer questions. My name is Andrew Butters. I'm #OpenToWork. Let's have a conversation.

💼 I’m a great fit for Project/Program Management, Team Lead, Manager, or Director roles.

🌎 I am looking for remote work and have extensive experience working as a virtual employee. I am also eager to work on-site in the Greater Moncton Metropolitan Area (NB) or Amherst (NS).

🖋 I'm a highly creative writer and am a wordslinger for hire. Alternatively, making one of my books a bestseller would help out a lot too.
