Have you ever worked on a project where one person's skills were the linchpin of success? It sounds grim, but did anyone ask, "What happens if they get hit by a bus?" Mitigating risks associated with a lack of redundancy on a project is essential. Part of a project manager's job is to ask, "What if?" and build strategies with the team to answer the question effectively.
